How We’re Funded

Like all non-profit professional theatres, each year we must raise a significant percentage of our budget from organizations and individuals who value the arts and understand their importance to our nation’s quality of life — like YOU! Ticket sales only cover a portion of our work. However you choose to give, your contribution is essential to bringing the curtain up for our casts, musicians, stage technicians and Arts educators!

Join Our Team and Become a Member in 3 Easy Steps:

1.) Choose a membership level that’s best for you:

  • Fan $5-99 (name on website)

  • Friend $100 - 249 (name on website, 2 complimentary tickets to one of our productions)

  • Patron $250 - 499 (name on website, 4 complimentary tickets to one production)

  • Choreographer $500-999 (name on website, 5 complimentary tickets, a behind-the-scene tour)

  • Director $1000 - 2499 (name on website, 5 complimentary tickets, a behind-the-scene tour, private meet and greet with cast)

  • Producer $2500 - 4999 (name on website, 6 complimentary tickets, behind-the-scene tour, private meet and greet with cast, name announced at all productions)

  • Angel $5000+ (name on website, 8 complimentary tickets, behind-the-scene tour, private meet and greet with cast, name announced at all productions including intermission speech)

The Footlight Fund (Current Priority)

Your gift, in any amount, is more important now than ever before as we join together in finding our way through the beginning stages of America’s newest national theatre company!

American Dream Fund

Make a tax-deductible gift to support Theatre For America’s new works through our American Dream Fund. Your donation will help us fund new and exciting musical and dramatic works. Join us as we create civic-minded performing arts experiences that every American can enjoy!

Arts Education Fund

Make a tax-deductible gift to support Theatre For America’s educational opportunities through our Arts Education Fund. Your donation will help us present our annual “Broadway In Branson” National Musical Theatre Camp. Our goal is to provide the very best midwestern training in the performing arts for students ages 11-19. Studies have shown art education improves children’s cognitive development and academic success. It’s not just about teaching them to sing or dance. It’s about teaching them teamwork, time management, focus, discipline, confidence, and much more. Whether passionate or curious, talented students can experience a nurturing 3-day musical theatre camp to hone and improve their vocal, dance, acting, stage tech and instrumental skills alongside the best professionals in the country.
